Green Power Options for Oregon Customers
Signing up for green power is easy for most utility customers in the Northwest. Basic descriptions of Oregon utility green power programs are listed here. Find your utility in the list below and call the number provided, or click on the utility name to go to their web site for more information.
Green Power "Environmentally Preferred Power" (EPP) program supports wind projects through the Bonneville Environmental Foundation. Cost is $1.10/month per 100 kwh block.
Central Electric Cooperative
"Green Power" program supports landfill gas. Cost is 1.8 cents per kWh more than regular rate, purchased in 100 kWh blocks.
The City of Ashland and the non-profit Bonneville Environmental Foundation have teamed up to make it easy for homes and businesses in Ashland to support local and regional renewable power through a program called Renewable Pioneers. By purchasing BEF Carbon Offsets, your money supports the production of electricity from clean and sustainable renewable power from solar and wind power projects across North America.

EPUD Clean Energy plans support wind and geothermal power. Customers may choose from three options.The 100% Wind Plan purchases wind energy equal to ALL of your monthly usage. The cost is 0.8 cents/kWh (in addition to your regular bill), or approximately $10 more per month for a household using 1,310 kWh monthly.
The EWEB Greenpower program will focus on generation facilities including the Stateline Wind Energy Center that straddles the Oregon-Washington border, Klondike 3 Wind Project in Eastern Oregon and our very own solar photovoltaic electric generation projects in Eugene.
Some customers may choose to buy both consumption-based Greenpower and blocks.
"Environmentally Preferred Power" (EPP) supports low-impact hyrdo and wind projects through the Bonneville Environmental Foundation. $2.50 per 100 kWh block for small accounts, or $1.95 per 100 kWh block for accounts more than 50,000 kWh/yr. (200 kWh minimum purchase.)

Pacific Power (Oregon Customers)
Pacific Power’s Blue SkySM renewable energy program offers Oregon residential and small non-residential customers three green power options – Block, Usage, and Habitat. Medium and large non-residential customers have the opportunity to support renewable energy through the Block option.
With all these options customers support newly developed renewable resources and renewable energy development in the region.

PGE offers two renewable power options to its customers - Green Source and Clean Wind - and also offers a Habitat Support option that can be used with either program.
