Portland's Waterfront Park is an example of forward thinking: In the 70s, the 20-block park replaced a freeway.

Our location:
RNP is located in downtown Portland, on SW Oak between 9th and 10th Avenues (kitty corner from Powell's Books!). Oak is one block south of Burnside. SW 10th Ave. is 10 blocks west of the Willamette River. We are on the third floor of the North Pacific Building at 917 SW Oak.

How to get here ...
On the light rail (MAX):

  • Westbound, the MAX drops passengers off on the corner of SW 10th and Morrison, which is 5 blocks south of RNP.
  • Eastbound, MAX drops passengers off at SW 10th and Yamhill, which is six blocks south of RNP.

On Tri-Met:

  • The 20 westbound bus drops passengers off at the corner of SW 9th and Burnside, which is one block east of RNP's offices. Head south on 9th a block, and turn right onto Oak.
  • All other downtown buses drop passengers off on the bus mall at SW 5th and 6th Avenues. Get off at Oak. From there, walk a few blocks west (uphill) on Oak to the North Pacific Building at 917.

In a car, from I-5 (coming from the north):

  • From I-5 southbound, merge onto I-405 S (EXIT 302B) toward BEAVERTON.
  • Take the COUCH ST. exit (EXIT 2A) toward BURNSIDE ST.
  • Turn LEFT on BURNSIDE ST.
  • Go east on Burnside to SW 9th AVE. (One block past the light at 10th Ave.)
  • Turn RIGHT onto SW 9th AVE.
  • For street parking, find any spot immediately after turning onto 9th Ave. RNP is in the building on the corner of SW 9th and Oak St, at 917 SW Oak, Suite 303.
  • For lot parking, drive for two blocks on 9th Ave and park in the Smart Park on 9th and Stark, then walk back two blocks back toward Burnside to Oak. Then turn left up Oak to 917 SW Oak.

In a car, from the airport:

  • From Airport Way, take I-205 SOUTH toward PORTLAND/SALEM.
  • Merge onto I-84 W/ US-30 W via EXIT 21B toward PORTLAND. Get into the second lane on the left.
  • Take the I-5 S exit that veers LEFT toward SALEM/ BEAVERTON.
  • Take the exit toward MORRISON ST./ CITY CENTER to the RIGHT. The City Center exit will take you across the Morrison Bridge into downtown.
  • Once you have crossed the bridge, you will be on SW WASHINGTON ST. Take WASHINGTON ST to SW 10th AVE.
  • Turn RIGHT on SW 10th AVE.
  • Drive 2 blocks and turn RIGHT onto BURNSIDE ST. (Powell's Books is on the corner of 10th and Burnside.)
