DIANE
ZIPPER
Diane Zipper is a native Oregonian, and has worked for the Renewable
Northwest Project since 1998. The Renewable Northwest Project is
a non-profit organization advocating for the development of renewable
energy resources in the Pacific Northwest. For the past few years,
Diane has been working on RNPs "Go Green" campaign,
which seeks to educate commercial and residential customers on the
benefits of renewable energy and encourage them to become involved
in green power programs.
Diane is on the Board of Earth Share of Oregon, a non-profit promoting
environmental education and charitable giving through workplace
giving campaigns. In the past, she has organized activists for the
Fair and Clean Energy Coalition and the Citizens Utility Board
of Oregon. She earned a BA in History from the University of Puget
Sound. Shes also lived in Germany for a year, is restoring
a 1910 craftsman home with her husband, and has a 14 month old daughter.
