LONNY KNABE
Lonny Knabe works in Nike's Corporate Services Department to optimize the operations of Nike's USA Facilities. His primary focus is Nike's Beaverton World Headquarters, where the majority of Nike facility impacts occur. Since 1999, waste to landfill has been reduced by 50%, energy intensity has dropped by 30%, and Nike is purchasing 30% of it's WHQ electricity from renewable sources, thanks in part to Lonny's efforts. He has also worked on numerous procurement projects, including the greening of Nike's custodial department, fitness centers, and courier services department. Previously Lonny worked as an AmeriCorps volunteer in Clark County as the Recycling Education Coordinator for the solid waste program at the county's department of public works.
